I think you should go with INTERNET.bs as they offer special promotion where you will register your own .com domain at just $4.99 only!
I regged my first domain in 1996. I've tried several registrars, NetSol, Register, GD (+ a reseller), OpenSRS but now my portfolio (quite 100 names) is spread between NameCheap (the one I prefer) plus 2 names at Moniker and 2 still at GD.
If you're looking at using Go Daddy, you're better off going through one of their Resellers. What you're going to get is the same products and services, but a reduced rates. Just a thought for all those who have said Go Daddy in this thread. Cheers, Hilander DomainLoonie.com A Registered Go Daddy Reseller
Pushkar, Why not ask more so for a registrar that is :Secure, Reasonably Priced & has Excellent customer support? I am a domainer and I have to say, you get what you pay for. You may think that you will never have an issue-and hopefully you won’t -But things happen! Check out a company like Moniker. -=Chipmunk=-
Netfirms is best hosting and domain name registration. People like Godaddy just because of its fancy name otherwise its service sucks.
Namecheap is the best. Use the coupon "interface" and get a .com or .net domain for $8.81 and it also includes free whois info!
Namecheap is the best because they charge you for what you get. Godaddy is very laggy, and extras like whois guard will nab you deep in the pocket. No complaints with name.com, but I'm not sure if they're ICANN accredited. I can't find the seal anywhere.
