WordPress = SEO Friendly + User Friendly Backend, Easy to Manage Drupal = For bigger Applications & Websites, Need more expertise to update the website. Backend is not that user friendly.
It totaly depends on what functionality you want to have. If the website is mainly text-based with a few minor functions added on, then you would go with WordPress. If you are interested in multimedia or more complex functionality then Joomla is a better option. Thus when it comes to build up a complex and robust website full of features and functionality, you should go with Drupal. I freaking love WORDPRESS! lol but thats just my opinion and it is also very easy to manage and use, so that's definitely a bonus.
For content writing, WordPress is definitely the best. Joomla is great if you need more design-friendly cms. Drupal needs more IT knowledge.
I have used wordpress and Joomla so I can say that wordpress is better than Joomla but I have no experience of using drupal.
i love all of them. my reviews 1. Wordpres (simple, i use it for my blog) 2. Joomla (Advance Features, i use it for sites) 3. Drupal (im not advanced with drupal, but some people say it more secure)
For me wordpress has better seo inherently and has a greater support base in the uk; this means that it is easier (and cheaper) to find support and design resources. The downside of wp is that developers are not creative enough and 80% of sites look like carbon copies.
It depends on what kind of site you are trying to build. I love and use wordpress for almost everything but a few sites I use Joomla.
