    ahrefs site explorer and backlinkwatch is good for check backlinks.ahrefs site explorer also provide information about new backlinks and list backlinks.

    All tools are good no matter in that but you can't get all the backlinks in that tool. Only Webmaster Tools can show you that how many actual backlinks pointing to your website.

    There is no backlink software out there that provides a true up-to-date picture. Webmaster tools is close, but still it takes a few months to show new ones in my experience.

    I'm not sure if you're promoting a product, but there is NO reason for someone to use a paid backlink checker over Google Webmaster, which is the BEST backlink checker in every way.

    Just stick to Google Webmaster.
