    I am looking for paid tools only, rather than free ones.

    Well I use two tools first one is ahrefs and second one is backlinkwatch(dot)com, both are good tools.

    To rank your website on google first page generate the organic traffic via forum posting,directory submision,blog commenting,socail bookmark sharing site..
    forum posting and directory submission is most imp as it helps in incresing traffic and creating link..
    do blog commenting on sites similar to your website niche..
    make your content fresh and unique...above all a blooger need patience and consistence in his work..

    Google Webmaster and Backlinkwatch is best back link checker tools but you can also try ahrefs.com for checking best results with nofollow,dofollow, image link and text link with section wise details.

    I think, Webmaster Tools is the better than other tools cause others are not showing actual links. Use Webmaster Tools for backlinks checking you will get good results.

    I think backlinkwatch.com is the best for checking back-link, but in my opinion you should be check from webmaster tolls link status.
