Joomla is better because it is more advanced. Wordpress only works for a blog. With joomla, you can create a better website.

Wordpress works well, but I've had some memory limit problems (PHP 5???) and (in my opinion) all the sites look the same (bloggish). Drupal is good for on-page SEO, but I havent mastered templates for it, but it will get the seo done with the correct add-ons. Joomla, is also good, but has a much greater learning curve, but will allow you to create much different types of sites. I have started tinkering with ModX (guitar in signature), and it seems prtty decent, also worth a look. If I had to choose one to try to get to the top, I'd guess I'd use Drupal with the seo addons... Just my opinion.
