Which is preferrable, blogger or wordpress?

    That's a common misconception, but no, blogger doesn't get indexed faster. I used to believe that too (one of the reasons I originally went with them over wp for my first blog). I created the blog, linked to it from my related webzine, and it was indexed in 2-3 days max. When I moved to WP, I do the same thing, and I'm indexed just as fast.

    I have my wordpress blog in the works and have added google adsense so that isn't a problem. There is a bit of a learning curve with wordpress but I am getting the hang of it. Thank you everyone who responded to my post. This forum sure is helpful!

    Can folks confirm though that WordPress has a tool that automatically transfers your blog, current template, all posts, history, etc. to its format from Blogger?

    I don't believe you can transfer the current template from another system. They're not the same thing. Unless I'm mistaken, you'd choose a new template, and it imports all of the data / posts.
