Which is the most effect link building method that can bring me to the top of search engines ?

I used to try blog commenting, directory submission, social bookmarking, forum signatures etc.

Sorry but I would have to strongly disagree with ApiceInternet. In my opinion those are 2 of the least effective strategies for link building. I think some of the more effective strategies include: article submission, press release submission, directory submissions (there are only a handful of directories help much), squidoo lenses & hubpages hubs. Link baiting is probably the most effective overall, but it is difficult to pull off successfully.

I wouldnt spend too much time commenting on blogs with the keyword as your name, its not too effective and my belief is that it will become less effective with time as it can be considered spamming for the engines.

article submission and pr releases are great and as explained, link baiting is indeed hard to pull off but well worth the effort.

I strongly agree about the squidoo lenses(built by a marketer for the marketer). Also if you look closely with a link
checker at some of the people that are on first page of google
with squidoo lenses you may notice that the successful squids are linking their lenses together and if you think about it thats a great idea because have you seen the page rank and alexa rank for squidoo ? it's outstanding! so the more you create the more you have to link together and really the best sites to link to are high page rank sites without a doubt and maybe some targeted sites. So I believe
that forum sigs are good too as long as it is as good as digital points alexa rating!Btw blog comments are great also as long as they are high pr sites because the link keep coming for days after, so look for high pr sites and it doesn't have to be related to your niche either. Just become a guest blogger , Thats my 2 cents .

You need to have hyperlinked keyword with your URL.
Blog commenting can work, but it may sound spammy.

The best way is to do all the stuff you mentoned in niche sites. Do some commenting on blogs that are in same niche as your, join forums that are in same niche as your site and that will do the magic. Also I think commenting on Web 2.0 sites like Squidoo is great!

Make sure your site looks good and than ask some other blogs if you can guest write an article. Just ask for a link back for payment.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but my experience has been most PR sites don't allow anchor text links, so it's good for publicity but with no back links, what SEO value are you getting? The ones I have used are PRlog.org, PR.com, etc.

The only PR site that I know that allows anchor links is free-press-release-center.info.

    Any different opinions?

    vansterdam,

You may not be a good way Feedback in signatures in forums and blogs, but the trend is all the alternatives (blog, forum, press release, etc.) is going to PR0.

Therefore, it is better to have quantity or quality? Yeah, that quality is to identify the construction of links to sites of your niche, but the trend is anything to go PR0
