I have studied that getting back links from yahoo is much easier than Google. What is the difference between two? And which one is more valuable?
Agreed, the only difference i see is that Google is the giant on the internet and they value their links more than any network otherwise all relevant links are valuable.
You may get different answers or likely more answers in the Google section (161 viewing there vs 12 here). You wouldn't happen to like Yahoo and be attempting to reinforce your views on Yahoo would you? If you talking about links in the SERPs then I'd say it varies. Some of my sites receive 90-95% of their traffic from Yahoo!, and conversely, I'll have sites who receive 90-95% of their traffic from Google. Both seem to provide the same CPR (if there's a difference, I haven't noticed it), and how I do well in one contrary to another still mystifies me. What doesn't mystify me, however, is that back links are necessary to do well in either search engines SERPs. So quality BLs, that's key. The problem is being able get those links, it take a lot of work, particularly if your managing multiple websites. Ranking #1-5 for a term in Yahoo! will often provide more traffic then ranking, lets say #20-#25 in Google. So either search engine, I'd say go for the front page. Obviously since big G has more searches made on it then y! you'll find more benefits, all other elements held the same, from G then y! However, y! algorithm is slightly more unpredictable then big G (although both are sometimes unpredictable) and you may rank high in one search engine and not rank at all in the other. These have all been my experiences, other people experiences will vary -- but I don't think anyone would radically disagree from my observations.
the two sites ranking are different.. google are more on off-page and relevance/ information that your site has.. while yahoo is more on on-page work.. it is hard to rank on google because there are more competitor compared to yahoo.. google are more popular and there are lots of people searching on it that is why there are lots of traffic in google
Yahoo and Google are different. Back link is more important to Google than Yahoo. however, if you get good ranking on Google, you will beat yahoo also. so, pay attention to Google first. about back link: so far so good.
Yes Both are totally different. Google only shows those that are important, Yahoo shows them all. The quality of backlinks is the most important things. One quality backlink can outrank many low quality links.
I wonder when we get backling from any of our work- how can we know it is recorded by google or yahoo. What is the method for it, what difference it makes, if it is counted or not. I have seen that google does not take into account, or atelast show all the backlinks you have.

Backlinks are important in both of the search engines, But Yahoo! Search is more clear in presenting backlinks to you through its tool i.e. Yahoo! Site Explorer where Google only show you some of the very important backlinks for your website with link: command.
google shows limited backlinks in search, u can see backlink of site using webmaster tool so i think if u wana check ur competitors link yahoo is best
Yahoo and Google Both have different algorithm. IMO Google backlinks are more valuable to Yahoo Backlink.
