I just want to know everybody's take on this matter.

When referring to to your website designs in relation with SEO, Which do you think of the two would be more beneficial? CSS or Table?

CSS - it is viewed faster because it is far less code
though i don't believe it has a huge impact on seo, backlinks and content are still king

I really don't think there'd be all that much diffeence, although CSS is supposed to load faster and Google is supposed to favour a site that loads in a timely manner over one that takes forever. But that's all, after all a faster loading site doesn't necessarily mean its better than one that loads a little slower.

While accurate standards compliance does not exactly effect SEO, it does breed proper semantics such as proper htags. So, CSS is much better and typically much faster as others have pointed out.

    Typically is the key word.

I have found that sometimes (especially if you actually want to draw a table on a page) TABLES flow control takes up ALLOT less code then bulky css.

mind you MOST of the time css is in another file....

CSS no doubt is SEO friendly , So forget tables .

Today Tables less designs are in demand and one of the reason is SEO

    Thanks,
