WHICH IS MORE POWERFUL: asp or php

    Powerful is a relative term. Php is more powerful if you talk about the support, community base and the tons of work that has already been done in it.

    well .ASP had an edge in terms of security in the past ,
    but now especially with php 5 as well , i don't think thats an issue either .
    Powerful and Security doesn't depend on the language here , it does more on the one coding it .

    Kind of depends what you are using it for. Personally I prefer ASP, but there is much better support out there for PHP and scripts that are already done.
