In terms of the value of the domain name which do people generally to find more valuable.

A good domain name (good keywords, no pr, no backlinks, not registered long ago)

    or

Stupid domain name (doesn't mean anything, pr 4, not brandable, good backlinks, and registered several years ago)

see I would think that a good domain name is way more important but usually the domain names that go for more money are the ones with high pr and backlinks that may be the stupidest combination of words i have ever heard.

    Any opinions?

It really depends on the keywords really. Taking that out of the picture, it really depends on the buyer.

As far as importance goes, keywords should almost always preside over pagerank (unless you're talking about a pr 7+).

A good domain name with good keywords is more important because you can always build up the PR and the age of the domain. On the other hand, a domain name that doesn't mean anything will always not mean anything.

Well, I will indeed go with the better domain name because once you have it, you cannot change it. PR and backlinks on the other hand can be built over time.

I would go with a good domain name & build it up from there. Unless you're buying a "stupid domain" which has been branded already & has a lot of traffic, I wouldn't bother with it.
