    Easy answer - both. Yes both of those factors are very important but we should mainly focus on getting good content in our site. Once you have good content, other sites will automatically link to our site and thus we would get more backlinks to the site. At the same time, it won't be a bad idea to start a link building campaign along with adding good content to the site. All the best.

    And content does not mean a lot of Text. It could even be a single image or a video. If it gives the right information that people want and if you are supporting it with powerful links it will naturally recommended and enjoy its rule on top of search engines.

    Having crap content and greats links will only mean the links were bought or artificially generated and lead to a smacking bitchslap from the Panda.

    Having great content but no links will mean gold inside a mine. Some one needs to dig up that gold.

    Content of a site must be relevant to the services and products that is displaying in the site. Content must be fresh and can understand easily by user. If the content of our site is nice, user will give a link of youe site in their site. Also internal links in your site never be broken or showing 404 error.
