Which is more important backlink from high PR home page or high PR page?

Why are you worried about getting links from a high PR site?
Get links from relevant websites - who cares about PR.
It's about the quality of your links.

 

For me it would be much better if you would choose to get from both high PR sites and high PR page. It will surely help your site to rank.

 

And how would it help, Justin? Its about the quality of your links - not if its from a high PR or not.

 

all good ideas, also the keywords Google discovers on the referring page relative to the discovered key words of the target page is very important as well as the keyword density near the link and the text of the link itself; IMHO ideally it would be the only link on a higher PR page full of keyword phrases that match the keyword phrases in the destination page.

 

High quality EDU and GOV sites are the best links you can get. If you can get your link in great content you have added to a site, you can also get great traffic that way.

 

I'll choose for high pr page specially if the page content is related to my site niche.
