    Forum posting is also more beneficial but i think Bookmarking is a best way to get huge traffic on websites and also help to get good ranking.

    I do both.

    Traffic-wise, I personally get lots more traffic from social media sites than I get from forums. For example, last month I got 237 unique visitors from Squidoo, but only 24 from this Digital Point forum.

    I believe forum posting would add more value to SEO of your site but social bookmarking along with backlinks can also bring some traffic to your site.
