    In my opinion SEO is the best method as it has long life and is less expensive. PPC can yeild you traffic but once your budget expires, the traffic goes down. SMO is also a type of viral marketing and hence its life is tool less, eventhough you get some heavy traffic for a small period (may be 1 or 2 days). But SEO is consistent and would get you traffic over a longer period of time..
