    Which is more accurate for statistics of your website for example unique visitors per day.

    Awstats on the cpanel or google analytics?

    Whats wrong with Awstats? They provide solid statistics however not in as much detail as Analytics. (Most people however dont need that detailed stats)

    Google analytics gives comprehensive results but one drawback keep me off, it requires a user’s browser to run Javascript, it'll not count the users who have not installed javascript or turned it off, also it block few spiders/bots.

    I only use google analytics and now only i know they count only those with javasript installed after read the reply from bobchrist. However, i tell those pay tool is better.

    Hmm perhaps thats why my results from both google analytics and awstats are so varied, there is like 200 visitors a day difference.

    I just believe on my own statistic. I can see instant visitors details on my site rather than waiting 24 hours to see update view by using third party stats.

    Google Analytics are way more detailed. It also seems they are more accurate. I mean on mine, there is like 50 -100 visitors a day difference and I don't think I get that many visitors a day.
