i have client who want to rank on "socks" "tights" "stockings"

these are high searched other dis advantage we have we have one 5 month old name

i know its hard to rank directly on big keywords so i want to target small one like "sexy socks" "kids socks" etc

Im doing huge link buying shall i use "socks" as anchor text or keywords like "sexy socks" or some two word keywords

Vary the anchor text. Use 'socks' use 'sexy socks' use 'hot socks' maybe even use 'sexy socks models', lol.

Varied is good and they will all help you to rank for 'sexy socks' and also 'socks'.

 

For anchor text I think those keywords are ok but for title tags you should look for more effective keywords.

Being on topic I will advise to use keyword phrases in your link text. These way you will target just "socks" and all other sexy, hot, charming, etc. socks.

 

Doing SEO on socks would not help, try to target profitable keywords.
