Which blog do you think is better, produces more traffic, keeps the traffic ,ect. Blog A has short stories and is constantly updates, multiple times per day with unique content. Blog B has longer reports like wired.com, more to read, more pages to flip through to read the article. Blog C has a mixture of both, some long some short, indicated by the type of post somewhere. Let me know what you all think. Thanks.
I personally prefer option B - long articles, enough to get your teeth into, but something fresh every time I visit. If I visit a blog and I find a collection of 20 five or six line posts have appeared since my last visit I wouldn't bother to read them.
i believe the biggest thing is update with good content frequently -- i find if i go to a site a few times a week and the same content shows up every time -- no matter how good it is - i will forget about the site for e weeks or months at a time
Blog B would probably 'keep the traffic' because visitors spend time reading it, but Blog A constantly updates so would probably rank slighlty higher across various sources on the web so it would 'produce more traffic'. But personally I prefer Blog C because if im in the mood to sit and read then I can, or if I am short of time I can just read a few short post, so I would be quite loyal if the content was high-quality. Regards.
blog b sounds the most appealing to me. I'd prefer to have long articles to read when I visit the blog and come back later to finish reading if I don't have time to read the whole post at one.
A... Updates keep people coming back looking for more. If someone goes through everything they are interested in and you don't update they will have no reason to come back.
This is all circumstantial. The only way to know is to do your research. If you're going into business on a whim, hearsay, opinions... let's just say it's not a proposition I would enter in to personally. Best wishes
All Are Good... Im unsure what one is the best... but i think C should do it... keep traffic while keeping updated is good
It would depend on your purpose in establishing the blog. If you are doing it for AdSense revenue then you would want a lot of traffic that did not stay long but click on one of your ads. So determine your purpose then chose your content type. gene
