Which Is Better?

    Is it better for me to buy a domain name and post my articles in there or is it better to submit the articles at directories. Which way will drive more traffic?

    I would think both...post articles on your website for spiders to find, and at directories also, so people and spiders will find the article, I would not post duplicate content, I would say do both as adding articles to your own website would be content for spiders.

    Post the articles on your own site first - once the article has been indexed by the search engines then submit it to article directories.

    Create a blog instead and post the articles on your own site, you should also start sharing it in different Social sites/blogsphere/rss directories.

    either way is the best. actually the reason why it is good to submit to article sites, Because it has already a power that can give you link juices. on the other hand. It's best to have your own domain and manipulate it in your skills which also can give you in links.

    Post the articles on your site you'd like to get traffic to, and then have the article re-written by one of the dudes at NeedAnArticle.com (or rewrite it yourself), then submit the rewritten article to high authority article directories ..aka EzineArticles.com and GoArticles.com - Thats a good place to start anyways..

    First buy a domain and post your articles there..and once your articles are indexed and cached in google, then you can start promoting it by submitting to article directories, social bookmarking sites.. etc.

    Do both. Once an article is accepted by EZA, re-write it a little, and publish it on your site.

    Post your articles in your self-hosted domain first to establish authority. Rewrite the articles then submit it to article directories. Article directories are good for backlinks.

    yes, make your own blog with posting your articles firstly over there.
    use rss feeds for indexing them faster.
    and then submit them to directories

    I would say do both, but make sure that the articles you write on your site and those that you post to the article directories are different. This is to avoid the duplicate content penalty. This is especially important during the beginning stages of your site.
