    And that can be hosted on your own server etc and categories can be made too stuff like that? and does it have adsense feature or do you have to code that in yourself?

    I'm currently using Blogger but will be switching to Wordpress in the months to come because it seems that Wordpress is much better...

    wordpress is infinitely better, but if you are just starting out then try blogger before shifting to WP ;)

    Blogger is good but there are many disadvantages when using blogger. As Wordpress is not governed by Blogger, you won't get banned if you spam your own Wordpress blog, although I discourage spamming.

    Also, Wordpress has lots of free software from the GPL (GNU Public License) and it is highly customizable.

    Wordpress is the good blogging software. It is free and it has built-in moderation feature. Wordpress themes are very simple and easy to use.

    It depends from which country do you belong, like in some Asian countries I heard that blogger is much famous than wordpress. But I think these to are great but I like to use blogger than wordpress.
