    In my opinion youtube is more popular so it can be more effective to promote your company there, nevertheless vimeo is gaining popularity too.

    Both are good for video promotions, YT is more popular and Google owns it, every video you upload it will shared on Google+ page, it will index very soon after you upload on YT,
    I really never upload a video on Vimeo, i watched some videos there.

    Vimeo is no way near the standard of YouTube, thats huge misnatch closest would have been dailymotion but still YouTube is the best out of all.

    Both are great video sites starting with but if you are looking for quality views which could convert, then you got vimeo snd on the other hand, if you are in need of videos with good google ranking, then youtube it is.

    Youtube is better then Vimeo, Because Normal user always use youtube. So always use youtube and 2nd factor is Vimeo will give full access to premium member. you can not edit profile picture with vimeo free Account. But youtube gives you full access and you can also monetize your video on youtube so i will suggest you Youtube.com

    depends on your content & target audience. YouTube is most popular, but if you intend to post controversial content you HAVE TO disable comments (unless you're into creating a drama). What repels me from YouTube is that there is no moderation whatsoever and pretty much every person can express their personality disorders.

    YouTube - mainstreamlined only
    Vimeo - artistic, also controversial content
