I am starting a sort of trivia site. Which way would you like better: 1) Create an account - Answer 100 questions correctly. - Receive a ticket 2) Don't need to create account - For everyone 100 questions answered correctly by anyone, the 100th correct answer receives a ticket. (So it may take you only 1 correct answer, or you may not get it even for answering 1000 correct). Which is better for you guys?
Thanks guys! I decided on option 1, an account costs more to design, but it is MUCH more effective for other reasons too. I appreciate your opinions!
I prefer option #1. It's direct to the point and it's a plus to have a user registered in order to join, as what HomeComputerGames has mentioned, unless you don't need them.
better to make them register, not only to build a good mailing list but to keep better track of your users
Maybe little one will have that patience to answer your questions form one to one hundred. But the second choice is a little random.Maybe you can make some change and improvement on it.I'm sure you'll get a better effect.
I vote for #1, as long as the user perceives that answering 100 questions will be worth giving out his/her email address. As others have stated, having your own mailing list is strong asset for your business.
Yeah in this scneario option 1 is the better option, for both parties. You could also make them opt into a newsletter at the same time
