Which is better? Sub-Domain or Sub-Folder?

i tking subdomain is better for me and for googlebot ;-) and adress is more nicely

 

Do you have any proof to support this? Where does Google say they prefer sub domains?

 

I prefer sub-Domain vs sub-Folder .One reason is because thumbnails of your site won't appear in a lot of places with a subfolder ,but will for a sub-Domain. I went through the same thing when I added a directory to a main site.

 

I think sub-folder is the best.

 

At least you've given a reason for your choosing a sub folder which is good, most just come on here and say I prefer this because... and don't qualify thier comments, that's pointless. You should be able to get alexa with a sub domain though, have you asked anyone else if they can't?
