Recently i've been researching ways of sending and receiving money across borders that would be best for someone like me who lives in Asia and cannot fully use all the features of Paypal available to users in the Western world. Eg. I can only send money through PP (and that only via CC) and cannot receive. So doin alot of research on the web I've dug up some interesting facts about the two major Internet money transaction sites: Paypal and Moneybookers. [link removed, please post the content here if you want to share it.
Both are having 95% share in payment processing market. But Paypal is stronger than any other resource.
PayPal is the best and widely used, but very troublesome. Moneybookers is powerful but not widely used. So don't hesitate to use Moneybookers. I like Moneybookers very much but I have to use PayPal also.
Moneybookers is good payment processor, but not popular. Simple, paypal is the most popular, but I care for Moneybookers more.
Moneybookers, but paypal is used by almost everyone, will be limited with moneybookers to receive payments. But, paypal , your money is not safe, charge back, limitation, one can just log in via vpn to paypal, send money, and fill a charge back, you get your paypal with your money limited, and the product you sold, well it goes down to water.
I haven't used MoneyBookers yet, but I've heard a lot of good things about them. I use paypal though and I've yet to have a problem with it. I might give moneybookers a shot though.
I'll go with Paypal if your country supports it. Mainly because of the security and more over most of them uses it.
If you're selling on ebay, of course you need paypal. but otherwise, it'll always be moneybookers, it's a no brainer. although paypal has a wider market range, but their service is always rubbish. they can suspend your account for no reason. if you enter into a dispute in paypal, they're the police, prosecutor and judge. you don't stand a chance if you're in a dispute with a pro scammer. plus their customer service is the worst. they won't listen to you and keep reading their script and you'll always be pissed talking to those clowns. with that being said, i don't have to tell anything about moneybookers and you should know which one to avoid using.
chargeback is what scammers like the most about paypal. if they didn't win a dispute with a seller they can simply file a chargeback and still get back their money after getting the item. brilliant policy by paypal though.
All scammers would say Paypal is better, because there are so many loopholes in there they can take advantage from. I'd prefer using MB for any kind of transactions, especially ones with suspicious customers.
