.org stands for organizational website...........us may be us based site..........Now it's up to ur selection.
That's not true. You can use a .org for anything - there is no particular usage requirement and it can't be taken away for being a for-profit site. I think a lot of people have the "perception" that it is for non-profit sites - but it's not a requirement.
Private registration can't be used in conjunction with .us TLDs, so that's something else you might want to consider. I would definitely use .org, even if it is for a commercial site. The whole idea that .orgs should be used for non-profits and things like that is nothing more than that (an idea). You can use it for whatever you want.
.org is always better than .us from my opinion.... .us will target us country and limited to US citizen. When buying a domain, always stick to .com, .net, .org as priority
ORG domains are identical to other domains except that a .ORG domain typically implies the associated website is a non-profit organization, non-governmental agency (NGO), or a grass roots campaign focused on activism and/or education. New non-profits and grass roots campaigns can profit from the low overhead and high visibility associated with having their own website.
Depends on the name you are holding and what you want to achieve with this. For example, if you are planning a directory of soma kind of service org is better. If you want to sell stuff us is prefered
org for my personal web but will prefer .us for my profit web why dont you use a more common TLD? like .com , it will be great
it's hard to see a DOT US in first 5 pages at google, for example, "buy a us made laptop in usa" where ,uk and .org come after .com/net. so .org is the better one
Definately go with .ORG. As compared to .US that has a US affiliation, .ORG is general and appeals more to people in other countries
