Which is better ? .net or .co.in or .in

I want to buy a domain, its .com is not available. So should i go for .net, .in or .co.in ?

Which one of these are better for SEO.

My primary audience is people from India, so will a .co.in or .in site be placed higher in Google India's result page ?

 

It depends on region. If you want to target traffic.

My opinion: .net by far. Globally known gTLD vs ccTLD is no comparison, IMO.

 

IMHO i will go for .net!
.net domain is known that muuch for me.

If your audience is from india and your contents is related to indians then I suggest .in for that.

Budget wise .net is better

 

every extension is good till you include the unique and quality content

.in is best if you want regional traffic. I see a lot big sites like ebay using .in when it comes to Indian traffic.

And more established sites use .in rather than co.in as far as I have observed.

If you are making the site for Adsense and it is a high paying niche, I suggest you go for net.

For some of my sites which use Indian ccTLD's, my US traffic gets me 10 times the CPC compared to Indian traffic and thus I regret using these domains.

had I used .com domains, I would have had less traffic from India, but more earnings.

 

in my opinion, you should try to find other name .com, all the big companies have com domains, google, yahoo, hotmail etc...
