I am torn between the easy to use Apple Iphone which forces you to use AT&T (unless you can get an unlocked phone) and the Blackberry sold by Verizon. Can you get "Apps" for The Blackberry like you can with Iphone/IPOD Touch? Also what about the ability to use an Iphone overseas like the BB?
Blackberry if you get a lot of emails per day is the hands down way to go. If you can sacrifice the great emailing services of the BB - then the iPhone is amazing. I use a BB for work & iPhone for my personal use.
Iphone >>> Iphone the great stylish look and cool image clarity that is high defined icons too.... And very good music output...
iPhone has got all the features & function you will need ever. But Black Barry has got some limitations. To me iPhone is the best.
Blackberry phones are made for business enhancements only and iphones are made for entertainment purpose only. The choice is yours.
Well, Apple Iphone seems to be good. But it depends upon what one wants from his phone. I use none of them... I use N-Series. - Digital -
Blackberry has the Blackberry app world, which has apps. Some apps I have are the Yahoo Stock ticker (which is great), the AOL IM client, and Opera Mini web browser. That being said, my AT&T upgrade is available in March and I am switching off my BlackBerry Bold to iPhone. I loved the BB Bold full keyboard, but my inner geek wants to write some apps for iPhone.
Blackberry is the way to go! I've got an 8900 and I've got awesome apps: Shazam, to see what song is playing with the tap of a button; ScoreMobile Blackberry, to see active scores for ANY sport and ANY team; Myspace app, Facebook app, UberTwitter (best twitter app for the Bberry), iheartradio app to listen to the radio wherever you go, Flixster to get full info about upcoming movies/showtimes, etc..and these were all Free! So take that, Iphone apps! The Iphone is much more delicate of a phone, it breaks/cracks and gets scratched very easily..
An iphone will compensate for where you lack elsewhere. Only joking. But it's a really great phone and I promise that you wont be dissapointed, I've had mine for a year and the unlimited internet on a gorgeous browser is perfect for travelling. Then it's an ipod, and can support the apps. You'd be stupid not to buy one, tbh. iphone has Shazam, there are numerous scores programs, Myspace and facebook apps too. Twitter apps galore, I have my radio app too. Many, many movie start time programs too. So take that, blackberry!
It really is all about what you expect from your phone as it has already been stated, but with the upgrade coming for iPhone i'd stick with it
I would vote for BlackBerry, as I am using it. It is very nice for email and office use and suit to corporate style G!
Does the iPhone have BlackBerry Messenger? I think not! How about Microsoft Word/Powerpoint/Excel on the go? I don't think so.. Orrr...how about, an expandable memory? Hmm.. Yeah, the iPhone is the best.. (*rolls eyes*)
On the iphone the web browser is far better and more easy to use because lets face it, mobile browsing is far better with a decent large touchscreen, especially one that supports touch screen. The iPhone can view Microsoft office things, and I'm sure there will be a way of editing them whether it be an app or online. Why you would want BlackBerry messenger when there are countless other ones that are universally accepted, and if you run out of 64GB of space, let me know?
Umm..Blackberry Storm2 buddy. It's a large touchscreen, on the most capable 3G network. And, "the countless other ones that are universally accepted" cannot deliver like BBM can..can they tell you when a message has been sent and unread? And then instantly when it becomes read? I still don't think so.. Face it, there's nothing extravagant about the iPhone man. It's just the pioneer of touchscreen phones, albeit a delicate little girl of one to be honest.
Alright, depends which blackberry we're talking about. Still, the iphone is unrivaled in its' browsing and interface. The 3G network is also more than capable. I would have to say that I wouldnt want the sender to know whether I'd read a message, because then they'd be pestering me to respond. How about the near 100,000 apps that the iphone has? Or the built in iPod which would alone make the sale for me?
Would have to say the new Motorola Droid on Verizon is a contender here too. Had mine for a couple days now and it was pretty easy to setup my work and personal email. And since I've had to setup countless iPhones on our corporate network, I can tell you the Droid is easy and has the sharpest screen for browsing to date. VERY sweet phone....
I had a G1, and apps are overrated IMHO..like 70% of them are repeated by different people. Yeah, you've got alot of apps, but so what? Do you download ALL of them to your phone? The functionality of a physical keyboard and that of a virtual keyboard are incomparable..I'm 6'1" with big hands, and I can't deal with typing on that miniature touchscreen keyboard...I'm a feel-ing type of guy, so I'd never own an iPhone. The best thing it has is a blend of iPod and phone, but even that in my opinion is kind of lame because I have an iPod Classic (or Video) with 120GB or music, and currently I have 88 GB of music/video filled..what's the maximum capability of the iPhone? Honestly, I'm not trying to bring the iPhone down too much..it's just that it doesn't reign supreme anymore in my book.
