Which is better? Google PR or the Alexa Rank?

Both are different metrices for measuring different things, it would be impossible to compare the two and say which is better. Its like asking which is better, measuring in litres or measuring in kilometres?

 

Both of them are good in their own way though I think PR is better especially in dealing with exchanging links with other relevant sites.

 

They are too different ranks.
I prefer google PR in all cases

 

Most of traffic generated to a website is from google search engine rather than any other site and search engine,so higher the google pr higher the traffic you will get.

 

I would have to agree with a few comments above and say that the Google Rank is something that should, IN MY OPINION; Be considered more than the Alexa Rank.

BUT!, I do not believe that you should just through the Alxea Rank away.
It can be good for doing your website traffic stats, ECT.

You should consider using both Google & Alexa together and seeing how it goes. I believe that this would be a much better way to do things.

Its depends on what you are going to check. If you are considering about traffic , Alexa rank helps. If you are targeting on SERP, quality, backlinks PR is important. Both are two different concept. Cannot be compared.

Well I think Google page rank is more important in terms of traffic and investment as well, People see Google page rank of your page before selecting it as link exchange or Link placement. Also more traffic come to your website if its Google rank is better

 

I think, PR is the best one to identify the range of the webpage. Google search also helps to get the most important stuffs in the PR.

What are those? I've never heard of them...
