Not sure if there's an actual terminology that's more accurate than what I put in the title, but I'm wondering, which style of link directory is better, or is there a difference... The first is what I describe as "flat". You have a link directory page with categories and subcategories, where each page of your link exchange is accessible right from the main directory page. Let's say each of these is the link text on the directory page: category 1 title subcategory title subcategory page 1 subcategory page 2 subcategory page 3 subcategory title subcategory page 1 subcategory page 2 subcategory page 3 Basically, a visitor or search engine only has to hit the main directory page and from there has direct access to every page in the directory... Or... A "descending" directory list, wherein you have something like this: category 1 title subcategory title subcategory page 1 and then at the bottom of the page is a menu for page 1 | page 2 | page 3, etc... Basically, a visitor or search engine has to enter the subcategory via page 1, and from there has access to page 2 and so on... Is it better for propagating PR values to all the pages in a link exchange directory by making all the pages accessible from right up front, or does it not really matter? I guess I'm wondering if the amount of clicks it takes to get to, say, page 3 of a directory makes a difference if it's 1 click in option 1, or 2 clicks in option 2... (sorry if the "diagram" was unnecessary) -min.
