They are both useful. If you have 1,000 links and they are all do-follow, Google will start to wonder...
If you have 1,000 links and 600 are do-follow and 400 are no-follow Google will love you.
What does this mean? It means that Google is aware of no-follow links...

Do-follow links are undoubtedly better than the no-follow links.

Both can be useful for your website traffic (since the visitors of that website might want to check you out), but there are few things that need to be mentioned.

As their name says, nofollow links aren't followed by search engines and they don't give a relevance to the website you linked in them.

On the other hand, dofollow links are followed by search engines and do provide some weight to the linked page. The problem you might run into is linking the same page from various sources where it isn't relevant to the content (posting about technology on a blog about pregnancy ) and that can get you penalized by some search engines (Google for example).

Totally depends on what you mean to achieve by these blog comments.

Traffic: Both do-follow and no-follow are good.

    PR & Rankings: D-follow

Ideally dofollow blog comments are the best, as these are the ones the search engines pay particular weight to

You are dead right, browncat. Some abandoned blogs have thousands of spammy do-follow links and do not help your site at all.

Do follow blog commenting is very good but you need to also build links on nofollow blog. Search engine algorithm always need to see natural linking so they will find it natural and you will get link juice from these link and you will achieve good ranking in search engine. Always build the same niche link to get most volue of link .
    Check the OBL
    main category
Please verify that you are building unique keyword on the page
