SEO experts can you please tell me which one is better in terms of SEO and overall.Currently I'm running wordpress self hosted blog and I'm happy with it.But I'm planning to expand my business with more blogs.

If i use blogger with custom domain i don't have to pay for hosting and moreover i can get rid of hosting issues.

    What do you think?
    Thanks.

You can really finetune Wordpress to suit your needs, and there are lots of free themes and plugins to use.
And Wordpress is SEO friendly and very easy to use :)

The downside of a custom domain blogger blog is that it gets tedious to upload once your post count increases. It'd look easy and beautiful when you have 20 or 30 posts. But what when you post even more posts? As the post count touches a threshold - posting becomes cumbersome.

It practically re-uploads all your posts once you make a post, where that's not the case with wordpress.

I used to own a blogger-blog, after completing my 800th post, it would often hang and suffer from connection breaks.

I have a blogger blog with custom domain.

Granted, I only have 50 posts so far, but it seems the perfect solution. Don't have to pay for hosting, the site will never run out of bandwidth or get dugg. Not having hosting issues is a big plus.

Sure, not having server side scripting is a bit annoying, but I can still accomplish anything I want with this blog. I think it's the best solution for a small business or a hobby.

I would go with self hosted wordpress blog. If you haven't had any chances to work with WordPress, give it a try and you will love it
