which is better a VPN or online proxy

    hi friends

    can anyone put a debate on which is better from a VPN or online proxy.

    Because previoulsy i had a vpn software that fetches me a new ip everytime i login using that software

    but online proxy remain consistent from a single site

    which would you prefer and why?

    to share with others or perosnal?
    personal use, I would recommend VPN since online proxies have MANY limits on what you can do.

    for both purpose even for login and visiting sites etc

    but one thing of vpn is the server ip is same but in online proxies it gets changed:)
