247 is better... as it gives a impression you are instantly available round the clock...

A hyphen after 24 can make it more factual IMO. :)

I also think 247 is better. Any idea?

I think 365 is not used, but 360. I've seen domains like something360.com and something247.com

I would say it really depends on what kind of site are you going to launch. If it is a site offering a kind of service (e.g. a domain registrar), then domains247.com would be better (non-stop domain registration - 24 hours / 7 days). And if you're going to launch rather an informative site, blog or a forum, I think e.g. art360.com (art from all views - 360 degrees) would be better for an art related domain.

However, I would try to avoid using numbers in domain names if possible, as it makes them less valuable.

Yeah its good to avoid numbers and hyphens in the domain name b'coz Hyphen(s) in a domain are bad from the branding point of view and for word of mouth publicity and it provides very minimal or no advantage over the non-hyphenated domains.

well again it depends upon the context of the site. Some site may be more suitable for 365 and some may be 247. And some even for 360(degrees).
