Hello, Here are 3 cases: a) PR of Related Niche Link (2-Way) is Greater Than Non-Related Niche Link (1-Way). b) PR of Related Niche Link (2-Way) is Less Than Non-Related Niche Link (1-Way). c) PR of Related Niche Link (2-Way) is Equal To Non-Related Niche Link (1-Way). Assume other factors to be same like number of outbound links etc. What does your experience tells you which link is better ? Thanks.
I always like to believe that if a link is relevant it has more weight, but thats not really the truth. IMO, one way links from high PR sites carry the most juice. What do you think?
I do know myself. I am pretty confuse. I have an option of getting a PR 7 link for free, but it is not relevant to my website. That is why I declined it
any link (assuming not from bad neighbourhoods or "dodgy" sites and done in the correct manner) is beneficial and carry a certain amount of weight, the more relevent the link the more weight it carries...simpless we all know Google aims to give the best results for its users, the method of writing for the user and not for google have always given the best long term results so going on that theory a site that has a relvent link externally to a source of more inforation, service etc would be helpful to the user...wouldnt it?
I guess look for links from relevant sites up to PR3 and for sites with even higher PR, no requirement of knowing the niche. Just get a backlink and it should pass on some juice for your site.
Yes that could be one option, you should think of a single link from any niche as 1 point and a single link form a relevent site as 3-5 points!? I know which one i would be spending my time and money on. PR is not as big a representation as it once was, target relevance!
