Hi I have been toying with the idea of starting my own blog for some time. I havea great deal of experience in e-marketing - web and email. I am, however, a designer by trade. There's quite a few strings to my bow. The thing is, I don't really have the time to give full commitment into promoting and writing for a blog, so I am thinking about selling my articles as original pieces to anybody who is willing to buy. They would get the copyright to the article. Is this a good idea? Would it be worth my time writing just to sell? How much would a 500 word article be worth (it would be extremely well written)? Thoughts appreciated!
if the article is great and really good topic. they might buy that. or you can search for a part time job as a writer.
to publish my articles on my own blog (which doesnt exist as i am too busy to promote it) or to sell them for others to use
You can sell the articles in pack ( example 10 aaa niche articles for $xx ). Just a note, 500 words well writen article may sell for $10 but senior dp members usually will buy it from other source ( 500 words article - $2 only ) Good luck.
thanks for your replies. i do have quite a few of these articles, i might set up a small site to sell them...
