It's difficult to say which is the best one, for me Google analytics, awstats and statcounter simply serve the purpose.

I use Google Analytics for quite a few reports but when I really need to dig into data I use Omniture. For instance if I want to analyze campaign stacking. For those that aren't familiar an example of what I track in campaign stacking report would be showing customers who come in through one of my "prospecting" PPC campaigns, don't order and leave to go back to a Search engine, type in my brand name, click on our "branded" PPC campaign and end up enrolling. This happens a lot. If I did not know the numbers I'd have a hard time justifying my "prospecting" campaign.

Google Analytics and Statcounter should do your job.

    Give Mint a go too.

For real websites, Google Analytics is the best tool out there. It gives very comprehensive and accurate traffic info and other pertinent data. For blogs, Sitemeter would be a good one.

    Hello,

Its very difficult to say which one is best. Some people usually prefer various tracker tools i.e. the google analytics, aw stats, site meters, stat counter and many more. From my point of view i like stat counter tracker as the best tool for tracking visitors.
