I have been getting a lot more replies with G+ lately but a lot of the replies are fake accounts or scammers.

 

I have used different social networks such as hi5, facebook, vk, google+, twitter. So I think facebook is the best social network in the world. It is the most popular and the most visited everywhere in the world.

I could never get Facebook to work but I have heard success from a lot of people.

 

If you want the most explosive traffic in the shortest amount of time, use Reddit.

However, you have to know exactly how to do it to avoid the spam bots.

 

Oh most certainly, Reddit is a goldmine if you can figure out how to do it without getting banned in subreddits. Kudos to those who use it efficiently.

 

It all depends in what you want to promote.

If you have a business where you sell clothing for example Facebook will be a great social media to post in photos and prices with your existing friends that can share your products with their friends also.

If you have something more technical or a blog you can have a twitter account and follow people with your business specific interest, and gain followers with relevant information.

And for google+ the same it all depends in what you need to post and promote.

It depends on what you're trying to accomplish. Niche also plays a factor as some networks are better for one niche than the other. If you have a legit business you should create an account on EVERY social media site and Web 2.0 in the business name. This builds "Brand" and protects someone else from registering your business name. AKA-ORM (online reputation management) If you own all the accounts(under your business name) of these sites someone can't register it and sabotage your reputation/business down the road.
