Which is best paid or free links to improve traffic

    l run a http://www.toplinkdir.info/ directory
    l now trying free Regular links without reciprocal
    as l think google bot likes free links, l still charge
    for Featured links, will this increase PR and more
    traffic.When l check links their seems to be a lot of spammy
    looking ones normaly l get an email address looking like this
    swedf45@dcffg, l assume other directory owner get the same
    problem. any advise please:)

    I got 400 links submitted to my directory every day, and 300 of them are spammy, that's the problem of phpld v2+. If you want to make some money from a directory, the most important thing you shall do is to increase PR. Webmasters are submitting to a directory for PR, nothing else.
