I think Skype is the best. Have been in touch with friends all over the world for the last few years with Skype.

 

Skype? I uninstalled it because it downloaded crapware without my consent. Never wanted to re-install it.

The do have some out of the box ready to go embed apps for people that don't have the skills to build something on their own.
