Which is best, freelancing, contracting, or my own business.

Hey everyone, Im new here, but i thought id get an opinion. After being made redundant a while back, ive been thinking about wot i could do. Im a designer, so i have a few options i can use, but which would be best?

I can freelance or do contractor work, but im not really fond of the peperwork that comes with it, or i can send out countless cvs to find work with another company, or i can start my own design company.

Which do you think would be best?

    at your mercy ;)

    Hi there Dreamscar

Any of the above id say, there is a lot of help on the net for contracting / freelancing, and if you have the ability to do so you could start up your own business from home. Paperwork takes up a lot of ones time which is unnecessary, what were you thinking about doing as far as this is concerned?

I prefer freelancing - flexible working schedule with less responsibility than, for example, on your own business.

wow, lol thats a lot of advice. Didnt quite think id get this much, :D thank you guys. Miyo, At the moment im pretty much up to anything, but my friends are old school. get your cv out, get a job at a company. but its to get there, Im still terribly busy, and barely have time to do anything extra let alone get a cv updated. they told me to try online cv writers, but to be honest im not sure abt them. So i have been looking at a few on the net this morning. just to see what its all about.

Warner and hemescave, what do i need to do if i decide to freelance?

I would say to run your own business. There is nothing better than setting your own hours and overall being your own boss.
