what do you practice? on your blog do you use the "read more" option on every post? just on really long ones? never? or what?

what is your blog about and why do you use it? if not, why also?

i was wondering if i should use read more on a personal blog.

    what do you guys think?

Everyone has his/her own habit.I use the "read more" tag for long articles only.

I prefer the 'more' button because I hate having to scroll down so much to see all my posts.

there's tons of stuff you can do.

if you're writing short posts, using <!--more--> is kinda pointless.
if you're using lots of pics, separing it out would be good.

i think of the more tag as a way of enhancing user friendliness.

when you have a synopsis or snippet out there, people can skip through if it's not relevant.

it also goes back to how much you prize your front page real estate.

i'd just put the summaries there to give room for other stuff.
