OK the age old question- Do you buy sites or build sites? I see some people buy blogs/ sites instead of paying someone to build or make it for them. Which do you prefer and why?
I would like to build the site by myself or pay someone to build it . I don't like the way to buy a site .
Build if you have spare time and love working. Buy if you have spare cash, are lazy and don't like to start from scratch.
its better to build at your own or pay someone to have it build for you as per your requirement but if you get something good that you feel can be handled in better way by you should be bought!
Build. Definatly... Think about it. Why would someone sell a site? Because its not working for them probably. So why would it work for you?
I as a web developer build my own websites, even though I always have little time left for personal projects. If I were a customer I would research for a good domain name, either buy it at sedo-type auctions or look for any available names to register, and then would hire a developer to build my website according to my strict requirements.
Yes i'm the second one. I buy a existed blog and then flip it. After some time,i sell it at 2x of my purchased price Its called flipping coz i have earn few thousand/month from doing flipping alone
Build the site yourself, more satisfaction that way. (And of course, if you buy the site without any knowledge, you will find yourself spending alot of unnecessary cash on getting any bugs fixed if you accidentally caused them)
I would be buying sites if I have more than enough. If you are just starting then better stick to building your own, they will age and get better someday.
Personally I am building websites. If you build it your self you will lose time (months) but no money (except hosting and domain) If you buy it you can start profiting right away but you will exchange money this time instead of time. Well you could buy a cheap website and then start growing it your self.
