lagaan and rangde basanti is the best indian movie.

 

I'll go with the second option. Why? I'm young and the movies released in the first half of the industry's life have not been watched by me at the time they were released. I just can't keep up with their looks.
To be really honest the real turn in the movies was given by Amir Khan in Lagaan. That's where Bollywood concentrated less on the Mother in Law crap and more on real stuff.
