Which (if any) paid directories are worth the money?

    Hi,

    Having spent what seems like a lot of my life in the last year subbmitting to free directories, I am starting towonder if there are any pay for directories that are worth the money. They can be quite expensive, and with a small budget I can't aford to throw money away on directories that don't offer 'value for money' links! I don't mind the cost if it gets the results :)
    Any suggetions greatly appreciated!

    I've heard Yahoo isn't worth the money for the traffic it sends and it is an annual subscription which makes it very expensive! I will look into MSN though, thanks!

    Yahoo directory is worth it to some sites but most sites it isnt. It all depends on the category you get in.

    We are equestrian (if you hadn't guessed already!!) which is really a bit of a niche and I don't think it is an amazingly competetive online market, but there are a few big players in the UK that have the money to get proffesional help (which we don't !) so it is them I am working my behind off to keep up with :)
