Maybe it is the best but I am not sure whether even the newest version of Dreamweaver supports new features of HML5 and CSS3.

Codethebest.....I am aware that if you are very good in hmtl and css coding you don't need nothing else but simple notepad for writing code by hand.
But I am not experienced code writer so I need some handy tool to help me in formatting and coloring code to evoid to do too many errors or bugs that's why I am looking for helpful and convenient html and css editor with those features I have mentioned before. And ideal one would be with current code validator (including new features of HTML5 and CSS3)

Creativesweb...I will try that coffeecup and thank you for your idea. Does it have code syntax checker?

I don't like WYSIWYG editors as It's close to impossible to generate semantically correct relevant code with them. I use Dreamweaver's code editor alone though. It provides tabbed documents, open with previously opened documents, and decent colors. No specific reason why I still use it other than "I'm used to it." :)

I totally agree with you! Using WYSIWYG editor it is not possible to keep the html code clean and not to be excess. Unfortunately those editors are not intelligent enough to keep the code as simple as possible.
I have created my first website with weebly editor which is WYSIWYG one but I am going to get away from weebly now and I will build next website from scratch on using html and css editor.

Dreamweaver is pretty good and I like its feature code hint because other editors don't have this feature. So maybe I will stay with it but only code editor. Sometimes I also use PSpad editor because its also good, if I click on on colour code in css automatically shows me real colour.

I have used almost all editors, but Adobe Dreamweaver is the best editing software for creating simple to complex sites.

Like many others here I'm partial to Notepad++ but also use htmlkit and on my Ubuntu machines I use Bluefish editor. I actually prefer Bluefish but it crashes often in Windows environments....
