I respectfully disagree. Shared hosting will work fine in most cases. If you get too many clients or are running low on space you can always upgrade to a VPS or dedicated server. Just go with a reputable shared hosting company to keep overhead low at the start. http://www.travsolutions.com
for a web design company, you will never need anything more than shared hosting. godaddy is a good host for starters, bluehost is good for PHP hosting and is fantastico enabled. depends on what you need.
I am not sure whether the spec is what you need, but I use Hostgator. You can start with $10 per month and have multi domains. Then, if you upgrade to $15 pm, you get unlimited bandwidth and plenty of disk space. They have dedicated servers as well, if you need to switch.
well you just pick any good hosting company for short term. then upgrade or go to other web host once you have found better host after gaining more experiences online.
I've had a lot of luck with mediatemple and bluehost. I have been very impressed with mediatemple's customer service and it can take a pounding when it comes to getting on Gizmodo or Digg etc. Both are shared hosting...upgrade to dedicated later once you have your biz established. Web Dev is a tough industry to keep in business, I'm biased though the service industry is not my cup of tea. Selling products or affiliate marketing is where it's at... Good luck with it.
If you are just starting your web design company, it better to start with share hosting and as the business/customer increase your can upgrade your hosting plan. Cheers
i have a hoster now but what should i name it and i might need employe's if any one wants to join just pm me your email
Just keep trying names and combinations of names to see what's available as far as a domain name. What kind of sites are you planning on developing for clients?
