Godaddy sucks.(thats my little rant there before I switched to hostgator so it'll give you an idea of what to expect if you go with godaddy)..I had them for about 6 months....I like hostgator, they are really great, great sevice and pretty good prices...(not that cheap but very reliable and i think that's what matters most...plus you get to host multiple sites with them so really if you have more than one site, you really aren't paying much).

GD might be excellent or awful for your needs. It really depends on the your needs. Post the URL of your site or even PM me.

I have an account at GD and will honestly answer your questions becuase I have nothing to sell you. The first link in my sig is at GD.

i am having six sites and the basic need of mine is to host all of them at one hosting plan! i can't pay for many! everything is fine for my current host except they charge a lot for an addon domain! while there on GD i had seen that there we can host unlimited sites in Deluxe Plan; though there are many other sites but this was reffered by one of my friend and also i have got it econmical.

I am on a deluxe plan from godaddy and I have never been able to see how to host multiple sites ... the reply from support never helped as it was generic and unrelated to my question.

I dont know how much traffic your 6 sites combined would use, although I have looked into hosting at unflux.net ... it is run by the admin of ozzu.com forums and they have pretty active support from what I see on that forum. (They dont do domain names but suggest godaddy for the domain name - so I never checked on how they hosted their servers etc - I was planning to but at the minute still building up my site and using up the remaining hosting time to make a decision on future hosting).

It will really come down to your combined traffic predicted traffic. Virtual private or dedicated servers can be an answer, but then it does depend on your budget as well.

I doubt very much that GD is what you want.

Avoid Dreamhost if you run scripts. Many of them won't work.

I am going to PM you a link to another board where there is an ad for hosting that I just bought. It is far to early to tell yet how good it is.
