I have used GoDaddy (stinks) and 1and1 (I likes). Let me just say that for such a large company, GoDaddy just doesn't have its sh*t together at all. Their website admin, control panel, and faq pages are a complete mess, and you are very lucky if you actually find what you are looking for. They seem to have alot downtime. There hosting packages suck and their support is nonexistant. Avoid GoDaddy at all costs. Get you hosting through people that actually know a little something about computers and the internet.
hostgator has always done right by me, from restoring backups to support questions answered in 5 minutes or less (live support via the net is the greatest thing ever. No crappy music while you hold ).
I use Godaddy (3 sites), Readyhosting (1 site), Powweb (4 sites) and Doteasy (1 site). One of these days I'm going to consolidate them all into one.
i dont have as yet...but whatever DP members would suggest ..like to try amongst those...I heard GoDady is good..
You heard wrong. They are terrible hosts. They are good and cheap for registering domain names, but there are alot better hosts out there.
