Hello, Recently, a person with the username seedingrules scammed me and I lost my shared hosting but I do not care about that, what i care abt is that i lost my member database and files, and i didnt even had a backup. Though I've learned my lesson, not to trust hosts with the ns's like "ns1.getnowdomain.name" , lol. It was a surprise that it sustained for 2 months, so i was starting to believe in them after all i had unmetered traffic and storage for just $12 point something. Anyways now i need myself a new host, i was considering the bluehost but there are a lot of good hosts here on dp too, so I'm looking for offers. Post them here or PM them. And I'm not looking for offers from "seedingrules" . Though I'm sure he wont return to DP atleast not with the same username. Thanks and best Regards,

if you want trustworthy host, just for your own website, then i would recommend hostgator, i have used hostgator, since many months for my own personal sites, and have great uptime too, but if you want to host your customer's sites, then rather then purchasing hosting, you should go for dedicated or vps server, that would be the best.

Bluehost will treat you well. Hostmonster is the same company as bluehost and is a little less per month.
Can anyone suggest any fast UK based reliable host? I need separate IP (heard it's good for SEO) and I have experienced some difficulties with MODx SEF url's and even some installation and setup difficulties with some hosts. It's quite interesting - half of the companies suggested here offer ulimited, unmetered etc for $5 or less so I should not take them but what says me that if half of the suggested ones are liars then why should I believe the other half:S Seems that choosing the right hosting isn't that easy or should I just take the first company that is more expensive and hope that expensive ones are reliable and fast. I've had myself one hosting company where I lost all mine and my customer's data, then one was very slow, one didn't let me have search engine friendly URLs in MODx and in one of them MODx was not possible to install at all
