Which HARDDISK is better ?

i need help 2 buy new harddisk so ,

1. SATA is better or Normal pin supported hardisk (my motherboard supporte both)

2.Which Company (SAmsung,hitachi,SEGATE)

3. HOw many RPM ?.

 

i think for now.. SSD Card is best value. but if we talk about Harddisk.. maybe WD Raptor 1000RPM is the best...

 

Go for sata SEGATE HDD. Segate is the best.

 

I think SATA is better,i am using it from last five years.

 

I am using SATA Samsung, its good

 

I like Seagate. Never had problems with them

 

Go for SATA Seagate good quality with 3 years warranty....7200 RPM..

 

go for SATA cable hoard disk is better.250 GB

take for seagate,..I've try WD but the power pin got broken or breake,... It'suck my data stuck on it,..

 

Always Seagate... never go for WD.
If external HDD then iomega & lacie are good too

Western Digital.....

 

For me SATA samsung tested for my previous company.

 

SATA because it's a lot faster, Western Digital, and the more rpm the better.

 

1. SATA is much faster than IDE.
2. WD Caviar Green have a large cache memory, 3 years warranty.
3. If you use WD Caviar Green, the rpm would be 7200 when it's working and 5400 when in idle state.
